ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 1) Sail Canada Membership is included in the registration fee. Go to https://www.sailing.ca/ for more info! 2) HST tax for campers 15 years and older only. As per CRA regulations we must charge HST to this age group. This tax will be collected outside of the registration system on the first day of the camp. All program participants: As a condition of and in consideration for the school participant & the Student; being accepted in the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club Sailing School; the Sailing School; the undersigned hereby understands, covenants, and agrees as follows: The Student shall provide and wear a government approved, properly-fitting flotation device at all times while in a boat or on a dock; shall abide by all safety rules and the rules of conduct and policies of the Sailing School which may be set from time to time by the Sailing School instruction staff and directors. The Sailing School shall have the right to terminate the student's enrolment in the program, without refund, should the Student fail to comply. The sport of sailing has risks and the Student participates in the Sailing School at their own risk. The Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club; the RNYC;, its directors, officers, members, employees, agents, instructional staff, and volunteers shall not be held responsible in the event of accident or injury or for any damage to person or property. Furthermore, the undersigned shall save harmless and indemnify the RNYC, their agents, officials, and representatives from and against all claims, actions, cost, expenses and demands brought upon the RNYC in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to person or property howsoever caused, arising from or in connection with taking part in the Sailing School not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or caused by the negligence of RNYC. RNYC endeavours to do its best to protect the privacy of your personal information and will not use this information for any purpose other than for registration and delivery of the selected courses.; We may use your email address to send you information concerning RNYC activities, unless you advise us to the contrary.; As part of the registration process we will also send this information to SailNL and Sail Canada for their records and distribution of material. The Student may be photographed or otherwise recorded while taking participating in Sailing School activities. These photographs/videos may be used for instructional or promotional purposes. No further approval will be obtained. There will be no monetary compensation for such use. As the sport of sailing is subject to weather conditions it is understood and accepted that there is no guarantee of the amount of time spent with on water sailing instruction. All registrations fees are subject to a 25% cancellation charge. Cancellations received within two weeks prior to the course are subject to a 50% cancellation charge. Only under exceptional circumstances are registration fees refunded after course has commenced. All courses may be subject to a minimum enrolment. Please do not bring valuables such as personal electronics or jewellery. RNYC will not be held responsible for damage or loss. This release shall be binding on the Student, the undersigned and their heirs, executors and assigns. By signing this, I understand and accept to the terms described herein.
